Dr. Bhandari is affiliated with GI Pathology Partners. Any tissue samples taken during procedures are sent to these highly trained pathologists who only deal with diseases of the gastrointestinal system. The benefit to patients is the highest accuracy in the diagnosis of GI disease and the subsequent, quicker and proper intervention.
Dr. Bhandari is one of a small group of physicians in the United States who is also Board Certified in Nutrition. The purpose of the American Board of Nutrition is to improve the quality of medical care by developing standards to insure that a certified physician in nutrition possesses the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to the provision of excellent care. Research has shown that nutrition can either heal or cause disease in susceptible people. In addition to physical well-being, proper mental activity is closely intertwined with the food we eat.
