Dr. Bal Raj Bhandari has partnered with Research
Solutions to bring new and
important clinical research study opportunities to the Monroe area. Volunteering
for a clinical trial means that you receive all of your study-related health
care and medicine at no cost. It also provides you with an opportunity to learn
more about your medical condition and be part of the “cutting edge” of medicine.
Volunteers are also paid for their time and travel.
Historically, drug companies have sent these studies to large, metropolitan
cities and universities. Dr. Bhandari has been championing to bring these important
research studies to the Monroe area. Diseases such as Hepatitis C, Crohn's
disease and even reflux disease don't just affect people in large metropolitan
cities. They affect people like you – that is why Dr. Bhandari is very proud
to be able to offer this as a service to his patients or anyone else who may
interested.
Currently, Dr. Bhandari has the following
studies open to enrollment:
• GERD (Reflux Disease)
• Erosive Esophagitis
• Sedation for Colonoscopy
• Dyspepsia (stomach
discomfort such as early feeling of fullness, bloating and maybe nausea)
• Hepatitis C • Irritable Bowel Syndrome
